How Do I Meet People?

Living Church is not a place where you have to remain a spectator. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with lots of responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Living Church.

Life Groups (Small groups)

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, Living Church has a number of small groups that meet across the city in private homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve. We currently have groups that meet in Østerbro, Hvidovre, Valby and Helsingør. You are welcome to attend any group and you can either mail us to get more information on levendekirke@levendekirke.dk or talk to Anthony and Rachel.

CONNECT

Our CONNECT events are designed to connect the church family outside of church services. The events are fun and social, but often also hold a spiritual element. They include move nights, excursions to various historical or cultural sites, car rallies, etc.

Youth and Children’s Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Our teachers are very experienced and make learning fun while connecting with the children on their level. The youth ministry of Living Church is a place of fun and friendships, and every other week the young people get together for a fellowship or teaching event.

Women’s Events

Living Church’s Women’s events gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Getting together with other women provides a time of fun, sharing and learning from each other. The women in Living Church meet for special events a number of times during the year. But we also informally meet weekly for café trips, baking and cooking lessons, drinking a cup of coffee or working together on various projects.

Married Couples

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one of the things we prepare the least for entering into. Living Church gives married couples the opportunity to join a preparing for marriage class, and several times every year we have a special lunch for married couples with some teaching or a time sharing to encourage those couples attending.
